David Garner is a seasoned healthcare and medical technology executive with over 20 years of experience building, scaling, and commercializing innovative products across hardware, software, and services. He is currently Chief Business Officer at Dopl Technologies, where he helps advance AI-enabled, telerobotic ultrasound to expand access to care and address health inequity in under-resourced communities.

David has held executive leadership roles spanning operations, product, marketing, go-to-market, and strategy at companies including Butterfly Network, Philips Healthcare, Verathon Medical, Vave Health, and The Advisory Board Company.

He is the co-founder and former COO and CMO of CalmWave, a Paul Allen Institute for AI (AI2) spinout using transparent AI and data science to address alarm fatigue and clinician burnout in hospitals. Across his career, David has helped raise more than $250M in venture and private capital and has advised early-stage and growth-stage healthtech companies on commercial strategy, design, and market entry.

David holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and pursued graduate studies in System Design & Management at MIT.

Fun fact: When David was in high school, he developed a robot that transported groceries for elderly people.
