Fatemeh Zahedi, PhD, is the Lead Robotics Engineer at Dopl Technologies, where she leverages her background in robotics, control systems, and teleoperation. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Shiraz University and Sharif University of Technology. She earned her PhD in Robotics from Arizona State University, where her research focused on enhancing human-robot interaction through human biomechanics-based and user-adaptive control methods that enable safe, stable, and high-performance collaboration between humans and robots. Before joining Dopl, she worked on human-centered robotic technologies and teleoperation systems across industry and startup environments.
From early on, Fatemeh was drawn to the idea of using technology to improve human life and expand what is possible in healthcare. Her passion for robotics, healthcare, and human-centered systems shaped the direction of her research and career and continues to guide her work in developing technologies that better serve human needs. She is especially motivated by the opportunity to help make high-quality care more accessible across geographic boundaries.
